Kindergarten and primary school for grades 1–5, Champerwatt, India.
The Big Umbrella — projects we are Supporting
The Big Umbrella was lucky enough to travel to this high Himalayan school / village in Champetwat and film this amazing project, which we describe as the ‘school of love’. We are trying to raise funds, provide teaching placements, establish travel groups to help out this community project; we even offer a school-building-project travel opportunity with building companies, which provides a fantastic solution for corporate social responsibility.
The Network of Love is a connection of small organisations, unified by the inspiration of Paramahamsa Hariharananda, that helps abandoned children, seniors, and widows in South America and India. Their projects in South America (The Ark of Love) reach out to street children in the larger cities, while their projects in India include orphanages, schools and vocational centers.
